The World Universities Ramsay Postgraduate Scholarship assists young Australians to pursue graduate studies at some of the top universities in the world (e.g. Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Harvard, Princeton, Bologna etc.) for one, two or in certain instances 3 years of postgraduate school or research. Support levels are comparable with Rhodes, John Monash, Fulbright and many other major scholarships.

Eligibility

  • Candidates applying for the award will require an admission to an international graduate program prior to finishing their application.
  • You must be an Australian citizen or permanent residents of Australia who are accepted to the Postgraduate Program at a top university in the world.
  • The scholarships cannot be awarded for undergraduate studies or clinical research (outside of the masters or PhD programs) and post-doctoral studies, visit fellowships or for any other research position.
  • They aren't typically offered for study on a part-time basis or for Executive Education programs.

Benefits

The award is worth $90,000.

The scholarship pays for living expenses, tuition fees, along with other costs.

Application

The applicants will be required to submit evidence of Australian citizenship or residence or letter of invitation from your preferred university (up up to three letters may be listed in a preferred order) Research proposal, where applicable, an academic summary (institutions and degrees earned) with awards and transcripts, two-page CV, answers to selection criteria as well as contact information for three people who are referees.
